Dr. Sahar Eftekar is the chief advisor of COMLEX prep curriculum at Northwestern Medical Review since 2014. She teaches behavioral sciences and has co-authored two review workbooks, Bare Minimum OMT Review, and Bare Minimum USMLE and COMLEX Behavioral Sciences Review.

Dr. Eftekar’s favorite quote from John Quincy Adams “…If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader…” has been a driving force behind her personal and professional accomplishments and has inspired many of her peers and associates.

Dr. Sahar Eftekar is a graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University. She completed her general psychiatry residency training through Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and her addiction psychiatry specialization training through UCLA in Los Angeles. ​
